FOUND Conference Tokyo 2025 Terms of Use

This event will be operated and managed by DemandMarkets Inc. under license from Ginzamarkets Inc., a US corporation (headquartered in Ohio, USA).

Article 1 (Definition)

The definitions of the terms used in these Terms and Conditions are as follows:

1. “Our Company” refers to DemandMarkets Inc. (the organizer of this Event).

2. “This Event” refers to the business conference “FOUND Conference Tokyo 2025” hosted by our company and any related projects (e.g., including but not limited to pre-events, after-events, online distribution, etc.). However, the decision as to whether or not to hold the event, as well as its content and format, shall be made at our discretion.

3. “Participant” refers to an individual or corporation that applies for and participates in this Event.

4. “Sponsor” refers to a corporation or organization that is involved in the Event through sponsorship, exhibiting, speaking at the Event, etc.

5. “Luma” refers to the external service “Luma (https://lu.ma)” used by our company for ticket application and management.

Article 2 (Application, Contract Establishment and Ticket Management)

1. Applications to participate in this event must be made through Luma.

2. After the application is completed, the participation agreement will be concluded when the application is accepted by our company.

3. Tickets for this event will be issued and managed through Luma, and participants must agree to Luma’s terms of use and privacy policy before applying.

Article 3 (Participation Fee and Payment)

1. The participation fee will be the amount specified on the application page.

2. Payment must be made in advance. If payment is not completed within the payment deadline, your application may be invalidated.

Article 4 (Cancellation and Refund)

1. Participation fees will not be refunded in the event of cancellation due to participant’s circumstances.

2. If the event is canceled due to our circumstances, we will refund the full participation fee.

Article 5 (Prohibition of Sales Activities and Solicitations)

1. Participants are prohibited from engaging in the following activities at the event venue and related online spaces:

  • Sales, solicitation and sales activities for products and services
  • Solicitation for network businesses, religions, political activities, etc.
  • Distributing handouts or novelties without permission from the organizer

2. If a violation occurs, our company reserves the right to take measures against the participant, such as restricting entry, expulsion, or refusing to participate in the future.

Article 6 (Handling of Personal Information and Sponsorship)

1. Our company will use participant information only for the purpose of running this event.

2. We may provide information such as the participant’s name, company name, job type, email address, etc. to the sponsors of this event. The list of sponsors and the purpose of the provision will be updated and published on the official website of the event from time to time.

Article 7 (Filming and Recording)

1. Photographs, videos and audio may be recorded at this event.

2. The recorded materials may be used by our company for public relations, recording, promotion, etc.

3. Participants agree to this before participating.

Article 8 (Intellectual Property Rights)

1. The copyright, trademark rights, and all other intellectual property rights for the name, logo, design, program structure, materials, and all other content related to this Event belong to our company.

2. Copying, reprinting, redistribution, modification, commercial use, etc. is prohibited without our prior written permission.

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

1. We shall not be liable if it becomes difficult to implement the event due to reasons beyond our control, such as natural disasters, accidents, communication failures, or the spread of infectious diseases.

2. We shall not be liable for any damages suffered by participants in connection with this event.

Article 10 (Changes to Terms)

1. The Company may change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice if it deems it necessary.

2. The revised terms and conditions will be made known to the public by posting them on the official website of the Event, and participants will be deemed to have agreed to the revised terms.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Japan, and any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
